1.3litre starting problem
hay guys im pretty much new to 4x4 and this site. i just purchased a 89 suzuki sierra. 1 problem i am having is that sometimes it starts 1st go, other times it cranks over really slow an eventually starts and other times it just clicks. is this a problem that some of u guys have gone through. any help will be appriciated. cheers shane
More likely you have a dodgy connection.
Pull the leads off the battery and clean
up the terminals with some sandpaper.
Check the other end of the cables too. +ve goes to the starter, disconnect it and give it a scuff. The -ve cable should earth on the bottom starter bolt again with the general clean up.

i ended up finding the problem it was the starter motor. apparently the solenoids shit themselves and it did. it ended up that bad i jumpd started my car and the current that the alternator was suppling the starter was completely draining it and i had no lights no stereo nothing it was just draining all the power it was also seized when i removed it
