Hi there i have i problem with a Toyota Hi-lux 2008 model , we took out the front diff to change the gears and now it doesn't lock so it can work on 4x4 , i have check all the electrical staf and nothing, the green ligth is flashing (4x4)

Any ideas Thanks

the problem is you have ifs and need a solid axle lol

When you say doesn't lock, what exactly isn't locking?

not sure if its applicable to your model but i remember reading something similar and it ended up being an electrical connector on the front diff, something to do with ADD. I think there are two connectors on the front diff, one for ADD engaging and one for Temp.

I could be completely wrong, just remember reading something about it.

When I rebuilt my front axle, I didnt put my locking hubs back on properly and when I tested them out for the first time, they didnt lock in properly, so I had to pull the locking hubs out and fit them back properly.
Your lux front end would probably be alot different to mine, but its somewhere to look.

And Tufflux, I know this year is only early, but I feel a Wozza will be coming for you, that is, if you last.

I havent got a locker on it . It haves a electric lock ( something like hubs but it is elecktric )
I have looked again if i done something wronge on it , but all are ok when i fit it ...
I thing if is working with ECU ,
I have check all the electrik connectors.....

Do anyone have an electrik diagram for it ???
