I have seen pics of it moving with dirt/mud/rocks/trees around it in the past few weeks ... not picas of it surrounded by poles holding up the garage roof like grimbo or myself ... :D

Did a front bar today, nothing too flash, just something to tone down the protruding rails and possible mount a couple of lights on

More still.

The tube we used is Chlorine pipe so it comes with a plastic coating which needed to come off.

Finished/painted

I have some aluminium mesh to go infront of the radiator, I'm also getting different indicators and the number plate will mount to the bar.

Um, maybe the shackles will be hitting everything before the new tube bar does??

How many inches you got from the bottom of the shackle to the ground? Those photo angles make it look pretty vulnerable.
My tires were rubbing in the front, so I trimmed the hood, and now they're fine...

The purpose of the bar is more to cover the chassis extension and mount some lighting.

Unfortunately with RUF the shackles take a beating but thats life

Big Steve,

Just an idea - but i reckon it may look good with some mesh over the front bar (ala Paul G's Coiler) to fill in the gab a bit - and you could put the number plate on that...

See my superb artists impression of what it would look like:

I saw at Auto Salon that almost everyone was using the bling style bonnet pins that you have big steve...

Though something that i saw (and almost wanted) was some the same as yours but they were plain steel/stainless (whatever) i.e. not annodised and bling...

I've driven it more k's then you ever have in yours. ;)... Hmmm, it's already been on it's side a few occasions.

I have one picture of his second zuk, the one built in this thread. I can only just remember his old one, i think it had racing strips for extra legs.
