Hey guys,
Im planning on putting LWB paj leafs under my NC Shorty, I have heard it gives about 2.5" of lift.
BUT!!
is it becase the leafs are actually longer, or is it because the LWB would have a heavier leaf pack as it is a heavier car, bigger fuel tank, larger towing capacity??? I checked out a LWB at the wreckers today but I didnt have a tape measure handy to measure eye to eye.
Is this the correct way to measure the length of them???
My main reason for converting to LWB leafs is to get a little more droop and compression ouf of the back end to compensate for the IFS front. My plan involves a longer shackle and a repositioned shackle mount, I only want about 1" lift, but I REALLY want to try get the back end working as well as it can.
I have found that VT commonwhore shocks will give about 100mm extra stroke, and I plan on moving the upper shock mount up about 50mm so I dont loose compression.
Am I on the right track???
