Hi All.

Just after some info on FJ73's

Im looking at buying one in the next week or so and just wondering
what I should be aware of or look out for.....

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

yep i have a 73, check for rust in the windscreen frame, and where the windscreen fram meets the top of the fire wall. look on the A pillar and the door, if it still has the factory flares on it might have rust behind them. thats where i had rust on mine mate but give it a good going over to make sure you don't miss anything.

also check the sills where the door frame comes down and pop out the tail lights and look behind there for rust. Drive trains are pretty solid with many parts interchangeable with other models.

Front floor pans are also known to crack around the seat mounts.
