HI

Sorry I do mean "VSS"

I want to use it with my 1.6efi Sierra. Can you use a Baleno VSS in a Viatara 1.6efi?

VSS "Vehical Speed Sensor" Sends a singal back to the cars computer to tell it what speed you are doing so what amount of fuel the engine needs

I have heard some say that you dont need it, some say they do

ahhh, i see - not sure if mine has it or not - doubt it though. I wonder how much difference to economy it would make?

mine is not connected and the economy is about the same as when the carby motor was in it but with 3x the power.

im pretty sure mines not connected either - however to have 3x the power and the same economy would mean that you're getting better economy - cos if you drove it like it was a carby (power wise) you'd almost certainly get better economy cos you'd be using less fuel... however i think mrRocky, like me, enjoys using the extra power =) lol

nic - can you do it to the sierra cluster? I've had my speedo (sierra) connected to the jimny ECU without any hassle - being suzuki, surely its similar?

You dont have to have it connected, i dont, and it runs fine. It just means the annoying idiot light is on all the time.

it may depend on gearbox and if you can get the speed input to work right with the sierra cluster as i didnt think all had a mechanical speedo?
