Momo steering wheel on a GU

Post by Butt Craic »

Scored a momo steering wheel for my GU ute over the weekend

Momo only make a boss for 1991+ Patrols and while the indicator cancellors work, the little pin that comes up to provide power for the horn isn't long enough to touch the metal ring on the back of the boss kit.

As the car is my daily driver, I thought that I'd ask if anyone knew a simple way to extend the length of the pin that's there or how to easily disassemble to steering column to remove the pin and replace it with something longer.
I'm not very good looking, so I guess I better be useful . . .
