Anyone know what the go is with this event? Is it Gold Coast club only or open to other clubs, general public etc.

well its on the first weekend in march.. and it starts at ARB burleigh..thats the only info competetors can have..so yes contact Rob clarke and he'll tell u more details.. but u better hurry if u wanna enter..

btw..DATTO.. what car do u have??

This is really good event. Winch challenge/OBC type event. Hard on teh body and mind type thing.....

Its a shame its not really advertised earlier. There was up to 25 competitors.... believe some have dropped out cause its the same weekend as ASCC.

There was issues with insurance for the event, which held off the advertising... :cry:

Hopefully next year we can get it organised a bit earlier and get more competitors... cause it really is a good event.

Cheers to Rob Clarke for the organisation, given teh difficulties with insurance, it was almost cancelled. If you can make it, do it.....

The Gold Coast 2000 has been cancelled due to the rain.. they started off last night.. but the properties were to wet!! so it has been postponed to a later date...

an announcement will be made shortly regarding the new date.

This is an excellent event. If your set for winch challenge type events, get along to it....... now that more time is available for preparation and advertising.

The Gold Coast 2000 proposed new date is the 6,7,8/08/04, we have checked all comps. to attempt not to cross over, your comments are welcomed. Will confirm in a week or two. :roll:

Rob down here in Sydney have never heard of the event,but sounds like fun

Where abouts is the event to be held?? & is it purley a winch event or does it have GPS stuff as well??
