x2 get an LS1 or 2
350 will use more fuel than 4.5 did plus more $$$ for rego waste of money

Try Marks 4wd for your conversion kit or Dellow Automotive as they both turn out good products, i have used several kits from both and all good.

Castlemaine Rod Shop on the other hand is nothing but a pack of liars that will take your cash and send you a box of cr@p that is never going to fit and then tell you it your fault and keep your money [and your kit in my case as i sent it back because it was not even close, so they kept my money and the useless kit and now pretend that it never happened] then you will have to shell out again for another conversion that fits, meanwhile your vehicle is sitting idle for months and months, so under any circumstances "DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY" they are theives and i have had plenty of people contact me with the same tale of woe and same results, they have not once tried to rectify this debacle and have never been contactable, just ask a few Automotive Engineers and they will tell you you have wasted your money as they are pro,s at ripping people off, some kits will fit but if it dont then "TUFF LUCK" , I am posting this to warn people of their buisness ethics or lack of, so hopefully they dont keep getting away with it again and again,,, good luck.

riteo cool thanks for the warning, i had actualy called them up before posted this up and ol mate jus said they straight out dont do it! atleast they did that for me, turbo tonks i killed the second motor while crusing along the highway on thet way back to vic, thanks to they motor like detinating and pritty much ripping its internals out and pumping a waterfountion of water out the intake! never seen anything like it in my life any how it left me stranded in the middle of nowhere and ive had to foot a bill of 1400 bux to get my truck towed to vic, as a repocution i cant pay the bloke who put my second motor in and now i gotta rebuild my 80 and sell it to get money to put the 100serries together!..... shuch a hassel! so yea im building a slightly worked 3f for the 80 and the 350 or maybe if i can get the funds for clint at prostroke to do it 383 will hav forged pistons H beem rods, and a cranky cam grind ECT... will only put out 300 or 400hp but will be built so that later when i can afford it i can basicly bolt a blower on with out any work to it! i hav to say a MASSIVE THANKS to PRO-STROKE engins clint and linda hav been like family to me and are doing the best to help me, guys if anyone needs engin work done call em or look up their web page after seen how much reliable hp they can get out of motors i would suggest them to everyone!

cheers
ty :D

i'll second the CRS are c^%ts, i rang up to find out what clutch they used in my conversion kit and not only wouldnt they tell me they gave me a price for the plate alone that was dearer than buying a whole conversion kit again!...thats not going into the trouble i had putting the kit in the first time with miss matched parts

Dellows ive heard good things about or Marks
1uzed and no home for it
