1st stage sat morning wont be but the rest saturday and sunday will be. Saturday night is hilldrags under lights so very spectator friendly. As with most 4wd events there will be some walking involved up to 200m or so but it should be good.

Hey guys, Had a big day down at the comp site today. The tracks are looking good. Heaps of water in just about every stage. We had to change one stage because the water was a bit too deep. (Chest height) but all good now. The mozzies are still bad so bring heaps of repelant. One more stage to go on sunday and all finished track wise.

Gates will be open on friday from 9am. Competitors are quite welcome to help us make tracks. We are basicly finished now anyway. All teams will get a booklet on friday night with all the stage maps, GPS points etc and any other info required.

How is the beer testing going olly?

Will be working on toygoata II all week im thinking haha,
still have to wire in the complete winch set up, wire in spotlights, airlines, mount harnesses, mount tyre, ground anchor, toolboxes, hi-lift,
and anyhting else we need, and then do a whole heap of waterproofing and get some flares and a snorkel made up and fitted, and a lot lot more.
And then leran how to use a gps lol, but we will be there..... hopefully,

theres still no sun shine up this way so hopefully it pokes its way through sometime soon to dry up the ground for vehicle access and camping at the event!!

Gee's mosko. Nothing like leaving it to the last minute lol.

Tracks are all done. At this stage because of the boggy ground access to the camping ground is by 4wd only. Water is seaping out of the hills making access imposible through the normal gates. We have had to change the access to a gate further away from the campground and there are a few boggy sections to negotiate. Day spectators are still able to access the comp area in 2wd.

Car trailers and trucks will have to be left at the trailer parking area at the main gate.

Well, congrats to Davo and his team on holding such a good event for competitors and spectators!

Some very nice new trucks out for a run good 2 see.
Mark Thomas's truck running strong but Russel Mason is giving it red hot go but managed to lay it over and had to DNF.

Great event! cant wait for round 2!
