True but i,ve got an sr20det already converted in a sedan which the body is stuffed. So the motor, wiring and that is sweet and this motor ran 12's in a nissan sedan down the 1/4 mile. So heaps of grunt.

sr would have fark all touque n power off boost, no good for pushing big tires n what not...

But if ya want it for a street car, do it.. just chuck the nissan box to match behind it, just means no more 4x4

power and torque, 2 different things, it would go ok, if its runining a 12 you can forget it in a hilux though, for the sr20 to run a mid 12, youve had a pretty serious turbo upgrade meaning probly over 50% of your rev range is off boost (until the turbo spools), also meaning you have next to no torque off boost.

All in all a stockish sr would be fun in a lux, i dont know what bellhousing you would use to put it in a hilux though, without making one or costing you thousands deeming the conversion over budget for what you get.

PS, 3rzfte = more fun.

yeah i,ve got a ball bearing t28 on 14 psi. At the moment it is set up with a lot taller gearing than standard and it spools faily early. Around 1500-2000. the car weighs around 1350 kgs and ran less than 2 sec 60 ft times, which means it pisses off in a hurry. The gearing in the lux with 33's would be so close to the load it has now under power that i think it would be sweet as. Well a million times better than a glorafied boat anchor of a 4y i got. I mean a lexus 8 would be my ultimate choice but a house soon smashes that idea. Just seein if i can make good with what i got i spose.
