Post by boost=money »

hey every one i have a 85 single cab lux and want to run 35's or mayb 37's, i want it to be stable and soft/flexy, im looking at getting the 4inch trail gear front and rear kit that snake racing sell and locktup, has any one got this kit?is it worth the money? i plan on doing a lot of rocks and genualy harder tracks. is there any better kits out there. sory to drag on but would a 4 link kit be better value. thanks for your help

Contact Bubs off here, I think he does the Locktup stuff. Or you could go straight to Locktup themselves.
From everything Ive read and seen about their stuff, they look like good gear, with good stance and flex.
If you with that, youd probably be happy with it.

If you have the money get the Locktup4x4 stuff good gear and pretty reasonable prices and even the 3'' kit will allow for 37's with a bit of guard massaging.

And i don't think snake does the trail gear stuff and all his gear is pretty expensive.

go coils . lukeys 4x4 customs do a coil front and rear kit to suit your model. look in the gallery on www.lukeys4x4.com or buy the latest 4wd extreme magazine out now as the white single cab hilux has the same kit fitted. heaps more flex than any leaf kit

First question is what is your budget, leaf spring setups make it easy, bang for buck you get a lot for your money with the trail gear setup and they work.

Another option is RUF setup with a 4 link out back, if you want to discuss in more detail on options just give me a call.
