Pajero NL GLS..... Sunroof?
Hi,
I was just wondering if the LWB, NL Pajero GLS was available with a sunroof....? Also was the exceed model automatic only (not 5sp manual)?
Cheers

lol I was going to post about sunroofs on the NJ GLS.. - wondering if there were any, i.e. can I get one at the wreckers and fit it to my LWB? Looking at the RTA site, fitting a sunroof from a similar model is classified as an owner-ok modification, and would make SUCH a difference to cooling the car down quickly in summer
If you have a look at http://www2.pajeroclub.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=78
it shows the 5 speed manual as standard in Exceed, and the 4 speed Auto as optional. Petrol only in the Exceed - diesel wasn't an option.
The only sunroof I found on the list was an electric tilt & slide unit, standard on the SWB GLS, and not offered anywhere else.
Not sure where that brochure came from (Dave might know?) and I find it interesting that Mitsubishi gave a different answer on the sunroof in the Exceed.

Don't ask me why, but I have kept the original brochure for my 2000 NL. I have looked through it and the only options listed for it are Dual Airbags and ABS, or the Luxury pack for the LWB GLS model, and that did not include sunroof. So from that, I infer that any sunroof would be an aftermarket one.
Hmm could be possible although with the way the sunroof is pressed into the roof it makes it difficult. Also some of the railing that holds the sunroof frame is missing on models without the sunroof. Would probably be easier to do a whole roof swap then try and cut out the sunroof.Rendrag wrote:lol I was going to post about sunroofs on the NJ GLS.. - wondering if there were any, i.e. can I get one at the wreckers and fit it to my LWB? I'm pretty sure I have seen a couple of NL LWB's getting around with the factory sunroof.
From my understanding there was two types. 1 like the older NJ with tri pack had that was more for the passengers and the more aftermarket 1 that mitsi would put on if you requested a sunroof after the car was already built that was directly upbove the first row of seats. Both are listed as optional in my owners manual.
