have been down 45dec hills with the ass end sliding then drop off 40dec at mate property with no worries.
really wanted to see any pics of already cut LWB GQ panels before i hack mine..

and see what size bump stop they might have,

Did you try the same hill going across it?
Big lifts are fine going straight up and down hills, or over washout on flat ground, throw in a serious side slope, and you will wish that you didnt have that waaay oversized lift in.
I had 5" lift and 35's on my GU, took the 5" out, went back to 2" and put 35's on the biggest offset rims i could get for stability!
This was after one very scary day in the wet on some decent hills, and it was then that i finally clicked that i had too much lift, and not enough width. (Flexed awesome though, below was with the 33" road tyres on, it wasnt even close to lifting a wheel here)
Ive got no photos of it flexing with the 35's on this computer, but looking at the pictures below you can tell how high it was with the 35's on it, and how unstable on any sort of decent side slope.
