Gard Chop

Post by scarman »

Ok all,
When chopping gards should you make a fold or just cut it neat.
Have made tubs on the back end but was thinking about just a clean cut at the front.

A fold will give the guard some strength and stop it wobbling around .

chop small cuts into the guard so it looks like a maccas cup holder, then fold up the tabs and tack them into place inside the guard, tidy up and paint. thats how i'd do it - then you get nice smooth edges and stronger guards.
