Do all engel's vibrate

Post by me3@neuralfibre.com »

I picked up an older (plastic though) 32L engel fridge 2nd hand at the right price.

Works a treat - but it vibrates. The waeco gurgles and hisses, but doesn't vibrate.
I can feel it literally 10m away on my near new hardwood deck.
I'm thinking foam feet might help.
Nothign inside rattles or shakes, it's the whole fridge vibrating.

Normal?

Thanx

I have my steel one on the back of the ute with wood tray. Same compressor as the plastic one, and when it turns on it gets all the loose steel meshing on the headboard vibrating. Wakes me up if im sleeping on the tray.

So, sounds normal to me.

Mine vibrates and I can hear it from the drivers seat.

I quite like being able to hear it because I know that it's chilling my beer
