Wondering if the GQ / GU tailshafts are identical.

Im interested in the 4.2 Diesel 5 speed.

Pretty sure they are except for the 2.8L which has a different flange...

was looking at uni joints today and the book said something about post 1997 for my model, so mayby the uni's changed? but the flanges and chassis didnt so should bolt up fine.

Anyone noticed that some of the GQ and GU ute tailshafts are a larger diameter than the wagon ones?
