saw a comp truck yesterday running a c-plate numberplate like you see on excavators and backhoes etc. is this an option for us?? can we get concessional rego for 4wds?

As far as i know you can get concessional rego but it comes with strict rules i.e. you can only go a certain amount of Km's from your house and you must be part of a club and have at least 1 other member with you at all times and i would think that it would still have to be engineered and shit but might be worth looking into further as im not 100% on details.

went onto the qld transport website.
"recreational vehicles" are accepted under conditional rego. it wasnt overly clear that this included heavily modded fourbys. quads and i think dune buggys were mentioned. i read on another forum rally cars are under the conditional banner but couldnt find that on qldtrans. so maybe it is an option. my fourby kinda looks like a quad.......
