Is it possible to fit a turn over spring clutch pedal (found in the 78 series, 79 series, 100 series etc.) into the 1HZ powered 75 Series Land Cruiser?
Any information regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
As many would know, the 75 requires a fair bit of effort to operate the clutch. The turn over spring clutch assembly was designed to overcome this but isnt featured in the 75 series (mine anyway). would I need more than the clutch assembly to overcome this?
The vehicle is a stock standard 75 series with 40 000 km's on the clock.
Thanks in advance.
Mitch

hahaa u need to mount a pin onto your clutch pedal so that it pushes onto a master cylinder. u would have to figure out how to fix it to firewall and some type of bracket on the bellhousing. if the clutch on 75s are pull type then u will needa figure out where to position ya slave. im not sure if some of the import landcruisers came with hydro clutch would be worth looking into but. wat are the new cruisers? my old mans cruiser v8td is soft as hell. wat if u got the pedal box out of a 78/79. woouldnt be any different cept for the spring setup ur talkin bout.
Standard clutch is hydraulic actuation. If its to heavy for you fit a vac booster to it as per top spec models, ie BJ74 LX and FJ73 LX had hydraulic clutch boosters fitted.
