Lifting Options

Post by kentmarcus »

I am wanting to do a lift on our 1991 NH Paj. I have been looking around at various options ARB, tough dog etc. I am curious what others have in their cars of similar age and what people have found to be cost effective.
thanks

Most people just crank the torson bars and put GQ coils in the rear gives approx 2" of lift.

We dont know these things untill u tell us why not go a body lift then would be by far the cheapest and easy way. 33"s should fit with a basic 2" suspension lift with easy enough anyway. Why go higher if you dont need to?

what sort of 33 ?
A 33x12.5
285/75 16 (a pretty true 33x11)
255/85 15 (a 33x10)

Etc
The different widths will need different lifts.
I am running tall 32's (as tall as or taller than many 33s) but they are narrow so need nothing more that factory height suspension... I have tweaked the torsion bars to level the vehicle out .. but that is all.
