I have the 35x12.5R15 on my Jeep.

Tires I have owned:
BFG All-terrain (unsure on size)
Cooper ST 31x10.5R15
Silverstone MT117 Sport 285x75R16
Simex Centipede 35x10.5x15
Maxxis Trepador Radial 35x12.5R15 (Current Tire)

Best tire i have had so far.

Onroad Dry: 8/10
Onroad Wet: 7/10
Offroad: 8/10

Rocks: 9/10 (only thing better would be stickies!)
Dry Hillclimbs: 10/10
Mud: 8/10
Wet Grass (fields): 9/10
Off Camber: 7/10
Durability: 9/10 (These things look new, and have been driven harder than my other tires)

Reverse: 7/10 (as they are a directional tire they clog up fast in reverse. I had the same issue with my Silverstone MT117 Sport tires)

Summary: Best all around Off-road tire, and better than MT117 Sport and Simex Centipedes when On-road.

Thanks lukethedork a good review and thats size I want to run.
The Trepador is most aggressive radial I have ever seen in the flesh for a 35inch, very open tread pattern with deep tread.

Treps are awesome but they wear fast on the high speed dirt roads i drive on in WA . But thats with a lot of wheel spin in my turbo patrol ute . Other wise i cant complain if I can 5 yrs out of them same as my last set of bfg muds . Which is looking very likely so far

some cool information in this thread fellas....top job.i ran 32 bighorns on my hilux for the last 4 years and last week went to 33 bighorns again all because i couldnt get a 33 in the treps A mate had them in the 35 radial on his lux and loved them,they were wearing well etc and now 2 mates in town have gone 37s for comps so will see how they like them

I would have thought every make would make a 33 inch tyre,gotta be pretty popular.But if i ever go to a 35 this will be the tyre fo sure.

I have the Comp 40x13.5r17 on my MQ, Run them at 10psi front and 6psi rear. Think I'll play with the front (8psi Maybe) but was very happy with the rears. My car's fat, around 2200kg at a ROUGH Guess.

34" Jungle Trekker's

Have Driven on Most other's, Irok's, Swamper's, Creepy Crawlers, Pede's, MT/R's.

As a grippy off-road tyre I doubt there is much better. Sidewall seams good too, had them bound up in rocks and the sidewalls never let go adn there is hardly a scuff on them. Wear very quickly tho.

whats peoples experience with airing these down in a smaller size (31x10.5) ??? Do they bag out well? Do they bag out too well and need beadlocks? etc

what are the variances in tyre size within the 37" range of Treps?? (ie, rim sizes and widths)

either 16's or 17's (16's have more tread depth - more suited to winch challenge style conditions, 17's more pure rock tyre, less tread depth) - not that it really matters that much, same width 12.50

i have 16's and am over the moon with them, mainly used on rocks

how do the trepadors compare to the bighorn.

i had 35 inch bighorns on my gu they flogged out really quick seemed noisy from new....
now i am running 35 inch radial treps seem to be wearing alot better than bighorns not as noisy on road good in the wet and dry great in all offroad situations!!!
