tricks for keeping tb42 runnin in deep bogholes/ water

just wondering what tricks/mods there are for keepin petrol engines running sweet in deep bog holes and deep water?

can you spary the leads with something to help?

can cover them in hose or conduct of some sort?

any suggestion would be great cheers

waterproof the dizzy/spark plugs, and probably an electric fan you can switch off when stationary in mud/water

silicone grease is your friend, mollycote have an o ring grease that works well, just pack the ends of your leads and plug them back on the dizzy and plugs, works on electrical conections aswell.

clean down engine and completely spray with tectrol, set like wax and keeps out water

all of these ideas are making a simple tune up or service sound might hard.
this tectrol stuff especially...

snorkel and about 4psi of constant air pressure into the dizzy cap. Silicone the leads.
