Hilux turbo problems

Post by Paul.lewis »

Having massive problems with fitting a 90s model hilux turbo set up to my 88 lux. Mines a 2.4 diesel out of an 84 4runner, that already has an ARB turbo set up on it but the manifold wont line up with the head......looks to b bigger ports on the new manifold. Does anyone know anything about these problems or know somone in the melb area that can recondition the orig turbo, as its blown the oil seal into the exhaust and blows smoke everywhere......Please let me know about any resolution???/? cheers, Paul

hey mate,
try calling MTQ Turbo's.

Fax: 03 9315 3984

I was quoted $750 to rebuild my CT-20, thats new oil seals (they are only rubber o-rings) new bushes and balance of the compressor spline.
Cheers
