Hi
Looking at changing my 265/70R wranglers for KM2's or similar in the 285/70R size. Will these tyres fit my 76 series without a lift of any kind? Has anyone else done this? My landruiser only just fits in my garage by 65 mm so I need to keep it low for the time being.
Cheers

With that sort of economy you must be driving it like a lady with no load, my 79 GXL that i purchased in Nov 07 now has just roled over 100 K in that time i've had no problems, and my best is 13.6 L per 100 Km.jimmud wrote:thanks for that tree bruiser.
By the way what sort of fuel ecomony are you getting from your 76 series? I've only done 1200 km (both country and city) and I'm so far averaging 10.5 lt per 100km which in my book is outstanding
When its loaded (99% of the time) and towing my 2.5 tonne tool trailer (its like towing a brick around) im returning figures of anywhere between 16L to 20L per 100 k/m depending on how i feel on the day, as far as driving style goes I:E heavy right foot
