Best camshaft specs for ls1

Post by macey »

Hi.
Just wanting to get peoples veiws or experiences with what camshaft spec to use in a ls1 that will be used for 4wd purposes. To get the torque and power lower in the rev range to the current spec it is.

Has any one used a 218/222 @50 and has 585 lift and 114 lc camshaft. It seems a likey one so far from my research.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I'd think that stock would be the way to go. I thought 'big' cams created more power HIGHER in the rev range, at the expense of power/torque in the lower rev range, which = bad for 4b's.

Therefore, stock.
