anyone.....??????? updates.....???????please......
only the first roll hurts, then its a ride..
My mate is there, I was there with him last year.
He rang his Mrs yesty and said hes having a good time.
Thats all I can add.
I was playing in the shed yesterday, and I felt as though I was missing something, then realised TT is on, then I felt a bit depressed
The reason I couldnt go was a family thing that was on last night, it absolutely sucked a$$. Which made me even more depressed

I was there yesterday so I'll try and give some details off the top of my head. I don't know all the team names so details might be a bit sketchy.
I saw OPW do 3 courses, didn't finish the 1st one which was Heartbreak ridge, got to maybe 70 pts, finished the other two easy enough.
Mal Van finished 2 courses I saw, both pretty comfortably and seemed to be doing well.
Bandaged bear finished one course, rolled on another, and broke on the next. Was missing a rear wheel when being dragged back to the pits.
Tuff turtle rolled a couple of times on Heartbreak ridge, but all seemed ok and car still running. The other course I saw them on they were stuck and didn't finish
Run a Muck had a roll, and saw them getting lifted off another course, so obviously didn't finish.
I saw Long Shot finish one course and broke a rear tailshaft around the 90 pt mark on another.
The Suzuki from QLD seemed to be doing well, not sure of the team name, but saw them finish two courses.
Saw Dave Camp trying one course late in the afternoon and he got hung on some tyres and didn't finish.
That's about all I got for the moment, hope it fills the void slightly.

I went friday night, the mud was the same as last year, just backwards basically.
Everyone but one truck got stuck in the same hole, Tazz was driving for OPW lost the steering AGAIN and decided not to go on after having a red hot go with no steer.
Alot of people got up and left the mud after 7-8 trucks went through and all stuck at the same spot.
Unfortunately i had to leave at 10am sat morning so i could go have a sleep for nightshift but i enjoyed what vi saw there.
I turned up at 230 fri arvo and left 10am sat morn and they still charged me $90, but hey its only money
They renamed the Mystery Night Drive to the Glenn Dobbin Night Drive as a tribute to his input to the industry, his father spoke before the mud run and we had a moment silence which was ended with Tazz firing up OPW's rig and hitting the rev limiter
Met Roothy, he's a champion bloke, no different than what you see in the dvd's , what a lad.
The recovery wasnt really any faster than last year i thought, most teams had to dig through mud to hook up to the Manitou's.
Should have had a strap taped/tied to the bar ready.
