King pins

Post by Struth »

Can Bunderaor 75 lower king pin/steering arms be used on a 60 series diff.

Physically they look like the same King pin arrangement and I want to use them to move the steering relay rod behind the diff.

This would allow me to move the Panhard rod in front of the diff easily and get a better panhard angle.

Then of course hopefully use a bundy steering rod (or custom unit) from the steering box to the original 60 series king pin upper steering arm on the passenger.

The 60s diff is on radius arms.

Cheers

How will the steering rod clear the diff?

Unless you have a HZJ75 with a 8'' high pinion front diff clearance for a rear mounted steering right will be an issue

Good point, it's a standard 60 series diff, will need to look at clearences when I get the car back from the repairers.
