Wanted: 4wd Competitions - Free Coverage Being Offered Here
Hi All, we are looking for some new blood in the way of 4wd comps, but not as competitors.. but as photographers, we have been covering the Tough Tracks Trophy Class since 2007 and now wish to cover a few more competitions in the SE Queensland area as 3-4 months wait is too much for us when covering Tough Tracks... and we just love getting dirty and hanging out with real people. We've made some great friends doing these comps.
What we want is for any competition organisers or officials to contact us if your interested in getting 2 photographers to cover your event/s and talk to us about what they want/need. We are very flexible in what we can and cant do, and we are willing to travel
We are also willing to cover club events or social gatherings, just contact us and let us know and we will work something out with you.
To see some of our work, check out our website...

Depending on how far we have to travel, we usually have all prints processed and on display on our website within 7 working days, but usually its only 3 days
Thank you for taking the time to read this post

PS... As an added note in case you're not aware, we don't charge to take these photos, we do it because it's fun and gets us out of the house! Yes the photos we take are for sale, but there's never any obligation to buy them.
Opposite Lock sounds good Bruce! Do you have contact details of anyone who runs the event so we can get in touch to find out how to go about being there as media?

If you want to see real trucks and real people you should come to Ironman Cliffhanger in July next year. We have 3 lots of photographers already but hey it's a big event and we need more. Same sort of deal you mentioned - we distribute a CD with sample low res images to all sponsors, competitors, etc and they get back to you to buy improved images direct off you.

You may be interested in coming to the Suspension Stuff Challenge held at Scenic Rim every month. (Beaudesert) There are 4 classes, stock, modified (3" and 1 locker, and 33's) Extreme Modified, (35's and double locked) and Outlaw. There were 33 vehicles last comp and it seems to be growing every month.
There are usually a lot of rocks and it is spectator friendly.

There is the Final round of the Mickey Thompson SSS Whinch Challenge at Landcruiser park 27-29 November. Contact Peter Stirling pjstirling@bigpond.com for details.
Just a slight bump, we are still looking for events to cover..
We arent people trying to scam our way in, we actively try and support the competitions that we cover, last year we donated over $1200 worth of prizes to the Tough Tracks competitors for allowing us to support them and would like to spread the love so to speak at other events.
We dont charge to be at events, we only require media access onto the tracks.
Tim
p.s. We are also looking at letting companys use our vehicle for advertising.. you dont see many old pajeros lurking about 4wd competitions so its a bit of an eye catcher especially when it has character and a name like ours.. and there is nothing wrong with an IFS vehicle... if the road is flat

Hey DSP
I'd be interested in working with you guys if our schedules ever line up and i'm not at work.
I'm an amateur photographer and videographer, and i also edit videos. I'm not after any money for it, it's a hobby for me and if people are happy to want my pics then i'm happy. As long as credit is given where due then that's all i'm ever after. My DSLR is rooted right now but i've still got all my video gear including a couple of tripods, in-car cam mounts and charging/electrical support equipment.
P.S. Man you've got some stunning pics in your website. I'd be happy as a pig in poop to get outcomes like that.
