gday Steve,

Alternating driver, each team will get to walk the courses in the morning before the comp starts, you will then have to nominate a course for the navi to drive. The navi only needs to drive one course

Recoveries, If a vehicle can be self recovered safely by the other member of the team after the time has ended no penalty points will apply.
If recovery is required by our recovery team then a 5 point penalty will apply, this is to try to make the comp move smoother. Snatching each team member through is penalty free unless specified on that course.

Reversing penaltys, each course is slightly different with some being free back and fills to 80 points others being to 40points, we do have some tight courses.

All rules for each course will be given to team managers.

hope that helps, Mark

Hi all,

I want to go as a spectator with my son but iam a little worried about viewing locations and vantage points.

Is it spectating from afar or can we actulally get on the rocks??

gday oztexs,
Spectator positions are good from all around the venue, you can sit on the grass and see all courses or wander about up to the travel ramp and pit areas up the top areas. If you wander past the travel ramp there is good vantage points all along the top section right to the race track.
You cannot sit on the rocks but you are very close to the action, there are no high fences to see over and courses have been set to benefit spectators. The spectator area nearly goes around the whole competition site.
You can park right next to the spectator area, so its not far to grab some chairs. We have a caterer on site selling food and drinks.

Hope to see you there, Mark

1ST 1 minute of comp starting there was a roll over, plus a few more, really good tracks they made and very step and narrow.

Took my son today, apart from the lack of shade had a good day. Trials bikes were a great idea. I think the action was a bit sparse at times and the trials bikes filled the gaps nicely.

Well done to the organisers for a first event.
