hey guys just because it is rare i thought i would let the fellow FJ40 lovers know my factory 5sp FJ40 box is for sale as i am fitting an auto.

i put the post in the 'Drivetrain' for sale section if anyone interest.

not sure what it could be worth being rare and factory/ any ideas?
Owner of 2 FJ40's, 1 for hard offroading with no roof and 1 for on road cruising with a roof.. perfect!

I'd be interested..... :D I did see one exactly the same go on ebay for a bit over $700, but I'm not 100% on the exact price.

Whats the difference from the normal 5spds? The FJ40 one have the handbrake on the back of the transfer?

Different top plate, the 60 and 70 series top plates are further back on the gearbox.
