Radiator for 4.5L 80 series GXL

Post by VooDoo »

Seems my top tank decided it didnt want to be part of the car anymore and split. Is it worth getting these fixed or just replaced?

Any good deals going that anyone knows of? (brisbane)

Red Devil at Oxenford Gold Coast were really price competitive when I bought mine.

It was $330, try them or perhaps any red devil, Brass/copper one, not plastic

I was surprised they were so reasonably priced, as previous experience with them wasn't so nice :)

All brass/copper ones (tanks) were $600+

OEM from Toyota $780 (plastic tanks)

Chinese import with 2yr warranty $297
Fitted it myself

I went the cheapskate route as the car wont be going more than a few 100k's from town and is more a day tripper than a interstate cruiser. Quality of the import looked the same as the OEM that was in it
