The Formula Offroad T51 BBR bullbar in steel OR alloy for Grand Vitara (98-00) is a non-winch bar. Formula make quite a few bullbars for various model Suzuki 4WD's but all are non-winch and non-SRS.

ECB make an alloy BBR bullbar but it's not winch compatible.

Fordy's would be the only winch bullbar for any GV model.

I will make one if i can not find one that is suitable... I dont like the outdoor auto one, it limits the approach angle and doesnt need to be suitable for SRS as my GV is pre air bag.

I've got the ARB August 09 retail pricelist (but there'd be a newer pricelist available) and there is nothing listed past the 1.6 wagon. So on the basis that you present, it's either just been released OR for some strange reason ARB have neglected to put it in their pricelist, which I doubt. Do you have the part number for it??

Just a stab in the dark greg, but you could try to phone ARB sale,s team.

Then explain to the fool that answers the phone how the complicated part number system works refering to bull bars ie:

32***** =non winch
34***** = winch
342**** = winch suzuki
3424*** = winch suzuki sierra
3426*** = winch suzuki vitara
3426010 = winch suzuki vitara swb series 1
3426020 = winch suzuki vitara lwb estate 1.6ltr

Once this logic has been understood you can proceed with your enquiry.

Take sales team member buy the hand and lead them though the procees, be sure not to go to fast or you will spook them into the realm of, to hard basket.

You could suggest checking the computer running up the scale of series.
eg: 3426/030/040/050/,,,,,,,,,
or 3428010/020/

enjoy your quest sir. :finger:

That's got to be a good option. Have they developed an air locker for the same?

Looks great. Did you fit stiffer springs ?
How does it affect the cars drive-ability do you notice the heavier nose alot?

No winch yet hey.

Yep, that's the new combo bar from ARB, two models, one pre Aug 08 and one post 08, look the same, just different brackets due to some changes in the car.

Winch compatible, number plate in that pic is hiding the hole suit 6000 or 8000 winch.

I fitted 40mm lifted king springs, the car rides slightly stiffer than factory. The bar doesnt affect handling at all, is really not that heavy. I think tho if a winch is fitted it may make a difference.
