How many want 4 door flares

Post by SteveC »

Is anybody interested in getting together to try for a bulk purchase from Rangie Spares on 4 door flares?
Is there anybody from Rangie Spares online. If so can they give an indication of quantity required & if they would be prepared to give us a special price.
Have been waiting on 80diesel4play to get his finished, but I need them now.

Guys,

You may as well have a crack at a bulk deal - its all on the back burner till I get a decent glasser who understands what I want to do.

There will not be any 2" versions from me - I'm only going to make the biggest ones I can...

Hi

RANUKI's doing 4 door's using 2 door flare's, this means modifying the doors but makes for cheaper replacement later. it also lifts the flare to the bonnet line/lip so they sit at same hight as front ones. He also levels out the inner guard that is visible when door open.

I believe it is about $350 for inital conversion front and rear (you supply flares). I'll get him to post photo's under "ranuki rocky rover".

RANUKI is in Mooroolbark for those interested.

Flares aren't the only thing he does, PM him to find out what other off the wall ideas he has for rangies.

Inner guards are lifted 1" to eliminate cutting tyre on up travel.

This is my rangie so finish is not that great as I will only smash it up anyways.

The doors will seal fine as the door seal is to the inside of the door, you will find that it will leak less as the flat guard lessons the gap between the door and the shell. Hope that makes sense to ya..

I am doing on of Rangie Automotive's rigs in a week or so. I'll post some photos of the befor and after pics.

I am after a set of 4 door flares urgetly. I mounted the 33" MTR's over the weekend & they rub slightly, but they are still on, so I want to install a set of flares ASAP.
Does anyone have a second hand set or want to get together for a bulk buy from Rangie Spares, otherwise I will have to pay RRP, dam.

why not just do something temp. with rubber until you find a set 2nd hand.
Saying that, they hardly ever come up for sale 2nd hand.

After flares, This rangie is only running 2" springs and 2" body lift, has full uptravel and runs 35's with no rubbing.
