4.2 diesel and superchargers

hi i just had the thought running through my mind for a while now.... i dont if its been done or heard of but im thinking of supercharging my 4.2 diesel patrol for abit more grunt. just wondering if anyone out know of any processes to do it and how hard it would be? wat sort of blower u would use?

I heard of a guy that had a worked supercharged TD42 SWB, apparently it did wheel stands easy and he ended up bending the chassis from the torque it had.

Was thinking of doing it to my diesel but whether it was true or not is another question.

Well its not that hard to get a SWB to wheel stand, my last one did it and next to nothing was done to the engine. So I would expect one that had heaps money thrown at it to do it.

x2 Id also like to see a swb do a wheelstand under its own steam on a level surface that isnt on a 45 degree angle hill, also it needs to be running suspension and not sitting on the bumpstops.

two guy in our club have done this, I am not convinced they are any better then my N/A 4.2, but then the engine is in good knick. I reckon a well done turbo set up wopuld be better.

theres a difference between a wheelstand and lifting one wheel up around a corner. any short without swaybars can lift a wheel 1 metre high pretty easy.

my standard carbie lwb can lift a wheel no worries lol its not that hard can do it in my na diesel lwb too but its a tad harder..
