Helper Springs for 2009 79 cruise ute

hey all,

dads complaining that the stock rear springs in his 09 v8 cruiser ute are way too soft and they are nearly flat with his tool boxes in the tray and full ladder rack.

can anyone recommend a set of helper springs or a system that can be used at a decent price (budget $500)?

i enquired about ironman helper springs on a website but they said they only work with landcruisers that just have the drum brakes on the rear, not the drum/disc combo? bit confused there since i thought they ALL had the combo brakes.

Rancho do a helper springs to, I got mine through 4x41. Recieved mine within 2days of ordering which was impressive they also do COD (cash on delivery) through Aus POST which is handy.

Get firestone bellows.
That way you can change the spring rate to suit the exact load you have on board.

Got them in my troopy, love them
cost just over $500 and fitted them in under 2 hours on the driveway

cheers everyone!

all advice has been researched on and it seems like either going with BOSS air bags (some 4wd shop sells them on ebay, anyone seen?) or polyair belows (seen these before at trade shows and on some mine vehicles).
