Certainly better fit second time round. The system they did for my 4.8 Patrol was a bit like that but but didn't cause any real issues as it wasn;t as bad. They put the cat section of pipe lower than necessary and it could have been higher seeign as it was in same position and original cat. Alos clearance to auto transmission cooling lines by secondary extractor pipes was a bit close but I suspect the system was jigged up on a manual. Not much room but a slight twist in orientation could have given a bit more clearance, never caused an issue though. However the fit and finish and overall design of extractors and the rest of the system was brilliant and as good as any I've ever had done before.
Mate has a similar exit to that one and if anything it could be a bit higher, soots up the towabar but doesn't seem to mark the bumper so doesn't seem to be an issue. Does the forward edge of the pipe still stick down a bit when climbing short obstacles, I would have thought it would be cut on a mitre to have it a bit more parallel to the ground. Or is there no chance of it hitting, the pcitre angle doesn't clarify very well.
By the way what does the Volkswagen wheel in the background belong to.

No sooting, outlet seems to work well.
To hit it I would have to be bashing the rear bumper and towbar pretty badly. Possible, but not commonly what I do.
Local shops where similar price. Scotts Rods is near me and sells on eBay. They get good reviews (I found later) and does custom for a couplt of hundred less :(

I say bastard!! wife's dream car (not the diesel) of the models/brands I would allow her to pick form if we had the income again. Gotta love that their "R" spec Golf 2.0 l turbo puts out 198kw through AWD and still returns claimed economy of 7l/100k's. Yeah, mates cruiser and my Patrol both had scuff marks on the plastic bumper at the back where the bottom edge rolls up to be almost flat eg couple of inches up around the curved bottom edge which is why I aksed.
