steering joint/knuckle on 60 series

Post by sonny »

hi my 60 series has a uni type joint on the steering arm up near the brake booster/firewall.when i turn the steering from side to side to check for free play i notice there is a clicking sound from this uni /steering joint.the joint has circlips so im guessing its servicable and can be removed but can i still buy one?anyone had the same problem on a 60 series?
thanks.

Easiest option is second hand from a wreckers.

Secondly i would be trying to source a new one from 4H store, Superior eng., Locktup4x4 etc

They will have extensions if you have a body lift also.
Get out there!!
