i know its early days but is there any know about improving the performance of the new 2.4 turbo diesel in the defenders???

1986 - Stage 1 V8 serIII style side ute - gone
1997 - 300 TDI 130 single cab ute - gone
1986 - 90 defender soft top, bars, buttons and tyres
2000 - TD5 disco 'the boss's rig'

Ive chipped mine and it goes a lot better with a tunit chip
No hard "performance" figures though
Was put onto it at the dealers when I bought the car. The salesman was proudly telling me they chip some of their demo vehicles

Bell Auto Services in UK is one that does upgrades for them.

They have a dealer in Whyalla, Total Rover Tech, who has gained a good reputation for similar upgrades for TD5's.

I don't know much about upgrading the new 2.4TDCI engine, but just found this while looking for a link to them.

hey john is that 'tombie' (or similar name) on aulro? i think he sells power up packages and EGR removal bits, etc.

Yes it is. I see from his website a good discount for aulro members.

BTW I have no affiliation, or experience with chip upgrades, those were just observations, but I have bought a couple of small items from him.
