Yes they will fit fine

gu and gq suspension is interchangeable, keeping in mind that gu's are heavier and therefore their suspension rates will be stiffer in the lighter gq

sure the gu isnt lighter? Cant see any manufacturer actually making a car heavier without reason. I know i gained height putting GQ springs into my GU

umm look at the weight of the falcons or commodores for example, BA Falcon is over 1800kg's XD falcon only 1600kg's

R33 skyline weighs more than the earlier R32 model

i eat my words, redbook has 02 gu at 200kg heavier than 99 gq tare, st coilcab. Donor for my springs must have had a few hidden extras! We measured heights for them before and after changing over.

Every model upgrade, on most 4bys at least gets bigger than the previous model. With the patrol, the gq iis bigger than the mq and the gu is bigger tnat thzn the gu. 4bys that used to be compact are now mid sized. Not just length, height, width etc, but probably carry what used to be options as standard.

I had also read that when the gu ute came out it had more leg room and head room than the gq. If the heights are the same, I guess than means the the extra went itno having a deeper body. The specx show that the breakover angle of the gu (ute and wagon) is quite a bit less than the gq. 27 degreess as opposed to 30 to 31 in the gq
