Hey,
I have a 105 series with 220 on the clock now, its got the full extreme 4" lift from EFS. It all came with it when i bought the car, so i dont really know how long its been on there however the shocks are showing their age a bit and im looking to replace them. I think the springs are fine tho.. The shocks range from $250-290 each, although they are up there with the best, im not sure i need such a heavy duty comp spec shock.
Just wondering what else is out there, i hear good things about Ironman foam cells and not so good things about toughdog, so im just wondering what other people think and what their experiences have been?
PS - the car weighs a constant 3.1 tonne aswell and i usually tow and i dont have sway bars... (which, im assuming, would wear the shocks faster.
Cheers

Heres some shocks to suit 4".
The Pro Comps seem well priced, i use them on my patrol and they feel ok on the road.
On my 105 i had Old Man Emu and they seemed very good all round.

I dont tow that much weight, its about a tonne or so, just a builders trailer. Having the trailer doesnt bother the ride quality much at all.
Yeah, i was going to stay with 4 inch, quite happy with the clearance and what not
Just had a look on the the suspension stuff site, the pro comp shocks dont look too bad, $600 for 4, delivered! Might give them a shot
