HJ60 series engine mounts

Post by tilts »

G'day people, can anyone explain why I am having so much trouble buying replacement mounts for my 2h motor? I have been through the mounts books at Bursons and pulled about six different mounts out onto the desk only to find they are out. most are about 1/2 inch too thick or no locater pin or bolts off centre. my old mount sheared off clean and does not show 12mm compression stress. any ideas.
scott.

Get them from a reputable 4x4 parts supplier, I got my from NQ 4X4 and crash up here and Cairns and had no issues at all.......

Maybe try some of the ebay 4X4 parts stockists?

There's only 2 to choose from for the HJ60.

MT8051 to 11/84.

MT8053 11/84 onwards.

These are Kelpro part numbers.
