just wondering how hard they are to install? any problems that arrise. ie extending brake likes and so forth.

you will need longer ubolts, may need to extend the brake line aswell and makesure the handbreak cable clears the spring pack as it will may be in the way

cheers mate, i was looking at the snake racing kit. comes with u bolts and the works.

has anyone got these and/or had any problems with them?

i put the handbrake cable under the spring pack cause i couldn't put it over the top

probably 50mm, no bigger, but maybe a tad smaller.

later model vehicle with larger brakes like yours the hand brake cable should clear with 50mm blocks

Also, might want to start thinking about running a track bar.

Particularly if you intend to pull a couple of leaves from the pack ;)

naa im just gunna leave the springs as standard i tohught it would be easier to get some lift blocks them get lifted springs.

if your run ning lift blocks and loger shackles you will probably need to run a track bar, if you dont you will start breaking things cause of to much axle wrap

Hijacker 1 (sorry greenhilux)

My runner has saggy arse sindrome, i`m running OME springs all round and have excellent articulation just need 2 inch blocks to pick the rear up. :lol:

If I run OME full rear packs (no leaves removed) with std shackles & 2 inch blocks would I need a trac bar :?: :?: :?: .
better than a bought one.

You probably wouldn't "need" a trac bar but it is advisable. If your springs give good articulation then they will also be prone to axle wrap. By installing a trac bar your vehicle will drive better and have a more "solid" feeling in the rear.
