mounting aftermarket seat

hi guys im mounting some new seats to my gq patrol and was wondering can i just make seat mounts as im pretty tall need to have the seats sit lower as the nissan mounts make the seats to high and so there just fixed in place

Can do, but you need to keep in mind that NSW regs require you to have them engineered, so you need to make them properly and the seat itself needs to meet the ADRs.
