I will be there but as a spectator only at this stage. I have a bit more work to do to the triton before the next round.

Cheers
Paul

P.S. What time does it kick off and will there be signs and stuff so that everyone can get out there.

Hey Jake, I'm planning on arriving around friday lunchtime/arvo, leaving tomorrow morning, sleep somewhere between rocky and Mackay. Really looking forward to getting up there and meeting you guys (but not this 'Robbie' person ;) ). I have a favour to ask, could someone please tape the ad for me, in case I'm unable to source a copy from the station.

This comp is gonna ROCK!!!

Like Jake said, if there is any rain about, Glen will always have a backup plan, and never disappoints with the track/course layout, he'll even find something to stop the Brissy boys...

It's gonna be an awesome weekend of competition, can't wait!

And if you see a white Maverick wagon with a BIG 4x4 videos sign across the side go by you in Townsville, give me a wave (or flash your tits - chicks only of course...), coz I'm prolly lost... nah, I've got a refidex from 1987, so that should do me...

Post by sascot »

with all this rain we may need a boat to get down from Cairns, the roads are flooded at Tully and elsewhere i hear. SO IS IT STILL ON? or is Tville still in a drought.

The roads are still open @ Tully according to the RACQ web site
http://www.racq.com.au/cgi-bin/roadreport/0213_roadreport.cfm?regionid=3

But there is a flood warning on the Tully
http://www.bom.gov.au/cgi-bin/wrap_fwo.pl?IDQ20720.html

with more rain forecast and a general flood warning from Cooktown to Cardwell
http://www.bom.gov.au/cgi-bin/wrap_fwo.pl?IDQ20700.html

and even a possible spinner
http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDQ10810.shtml

I'm still planning on coming at this stage :)
