The front has one, and not the rear because there is more lateral force on the axle due to the steering. I wouldn't remove it. You would probably get death wobbles on the road, particually as the spring pack bushes wear.

That may well be so, if your using standard front leaves. But I have not seen an aftermarket lifted spring pack with only 2 leaves. They are usually 5 leaves at least, which pretty much matches the rears.

My tray had 3 leafs prior to the upgrad with a TD wagaon. It now has 5 I think on the drivers side and 4 on the passenger. The panhard is still on and totally opposite to most, the drivers side sits higher. (dam 31 rub on the flares now)

I think I was quoted 6 leaves front and rear. And currently i have 3 on the front.
