vehicle has full cert(inc sill cut, sliders, lift, drop boxs, lenghtened susp arms/panhards etc)I spoke to engineer before fitting sliders.

Could be different in Oz though

Chassis is made of 2 sections welded togeather from factory,(not the best welding either)

Cheers Shane

welding to chassis is alright but shouldn't rally be done lIke above. should use a diamond shape plate so there's no vertical welds as they creat stress fractures and can crack

in queensland it is a no no i cant say for the other states but i would assume they are the same .... u can try and get it certified here but unless you got big bucks to have your chassis x rayed etc u will need to bolt it on as for the one you see it is in new zealand and i have no idea about their rules

cheers

A few boys up here in Queensland are cutting the sill slightly higher and replacing the whole sill with a piece of 100x50x3-5mm box section and not running sliders

Sweet. I ended up using 6mm plate. But cut it slightly higher like you are talking about. 4mm gap under the door to the plate right through...
Cheers for the help
