The car is now at TWs workshop and is stripped down preparing for its transformation if anyone wants a look.

He said he will email me some pics once the parts start arriving and he starts grinding bits off it.

I dont know who is having a go........... all the blokes that think this 3 page thread about a bloke who isnt sure on much ie. a rocsta = a jeep or the bloke who is building this you beaut next best thing

I agree, I really wouldn't bore out a 3.5 Rover when for very little more you can just buy a 3.9 V8 (which is the same capacity as the 4.0 V8). Rather than fart around, many of the Rock Crawlers were running the ZF and LT230 that came behind the Rover V8 and just added a crawler gear to the transfer. I think Sam has previously said 1350 unis and then the strength in the D60, propshafts and LT230 are all very similar. It just sounds like you're spending dosh where you dont need to.

I went and had a look at the build, it is going very well and happening surprisingly quickly. I took 2 photos, 1 is of the diffs that big_slart was going to use and the other is a spy pic of the car, he doesnt want to many photos of it posted so you dont get too many ideas. I hope you understand

i call BS on your pics.......particularity of the smaller one as it looks like something from Iceland.

That actually looks kinda cool.
But do agree with others. Why hasnt this been moved to others.
