TB42, TD42 Engine mount brackets

Post by badger »

Are TD42 and TB42 engine mount brackets from the block to the engine mount the same.

I am bolting a Late model (4bolt mount GU)TD42 into an early model (2 bolt mount 89 GQ) chassis and the brackets off of the block are different, I can get some TB42 brackets off a mate but I dont have the old motor to compare.

Any one know

Hey mate, yeah i did a petrol to diesel conversion and had to swap the brackets on the engines over. they pretty much went straight on, just had to open one of the holes up a little
