chasing info on how hard it is to change the rear drum brakes on a gq to disc brake any info would be great or a pointer to an old thread cheers cookie

the only 2 new things you will need to swap one to another is a complete rear end iincluding a diff with the right ratio to suit your front. and a new master cylinder as they have a different bore size. or im pretty sure the drum centre will fit into a disc housing but you need all the axles or the like.
but otherwise just fit and go why didnt i do this years ago.

yea like benos said just change your whole rear diff housing making sure you put the same ratio in and your master cylinder...... and shes sweet as gold just had 1 done myself works fine for me.... cheers and goodluck with it

i changed one on swb needed to change panard as was different 88 model brake master works fine

can just change the bush on the panhard but it so much better to drive
