hey guys, got stuk in a bog hole on the w.e and tore open the boot on my slave cylinder.. now thers a whole heap of gunk stuck between my pressure plate (i think)...

how do i fix this? take the transmission out? because thers no inspection plate..

also is there anything i can do to prevent this happening again? a bash plate of sum sort or something?

used to get mud and sand from rivers and bogs stuck in clutch. I removed bung from bottom of bell housing and flushed with hose to get rid of kak then over the course of a few days it would dry and stop 'clutch shudder'.

I used sika to seal the boot, bell housing and bung.....never even gets wet now.

Seal the boot to the bellhousing and the fork with silicon. works a treat.
